Clausing Family

Rev. Jonathan and Mrs. Anita Clausing & Family, Emil, Ellie, Ernie, Eunice, Ethan, Eric, Eileen, Elijah, Emmanuel are a missionary family of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod serving in the country of Tanzania.  Pastor Drebes studied with both Anita and Jonathan in college and seminary.

To All the Saints at Pacific Hills,
Greetings in Christ from Moshi, Tanzania. The new semester at St. Peter Theological Seminary in the nearby village of Himo is about to begin, and I’m using these last few days before I begin teaching to send out thanks to all who have supported me this past fall.

On behalf of the congregations and future pastors of the Lutheran Church in East Africa, thanks so much for your $500 donation.

As you know, your contribution enables me to teach at the seminary, preparing young men to be faithful pastors who preach the good news of Jesus in their congregations. In less than two weeks a new class will arrive to begin studying, and the course lineup for their first semester is Greek I, Hebrew I, Small Catechism, New Testament Isagogics, Early Church History, and Liturgics. With God’s help we hope to shape these young men to be caring shepherds firmly rooted in God’s Word. I, my family, and this growing young church body are grateful for your support.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Jonathan and Mrs. Anita Clausing & Family, Emil, Ellie, Ernie, Eunice, Ethan, Eric, Eileen, Elijah, Emmanuel
