Pacific Hills Lutheran Church Omaha Nebraska, Eucharistic Congregation | Lord's Supper
Welcome to Pacific Hills Lutheran Church!
Pacific Hills was founded as a daughter congregation of First Lutheran Church, Omaha, in 1955. Since then we have preached Christ, and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 1:23) for your salvation, one of the constants in the history of Pacific Hills.
Other constants include liturgical worship and music. We are a Eucharistic congregation, offering the Eucharist (the Lord's Supper) at both services on Sundays and at a spoken liturgy on Wednesdays.
Our membership is diverse by age and background, and our members come from all over the Omaha metro area. Located at 90th and Pacific, we are easily found in the center of School District 66, the near west central suburban Omaha school district known as Westside Community Schools.
We enjoy a strong mission and education orientation. We support a variety of ministries: Sudanese Lutheran Church in Mission (Omaha), Walking Together Lutheran Ministries, Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha, our own Lamb of God Preschool, and Living H2O Lutheran Campus Ministry, to name just a few. We are a welcoming, friendly congregation. We invite you to discover that for yourself.
In Christ,
The Rev. Dr. William G. Moorhead, Senior Pastor
